Brainstorm Blog #3

For my Choose Your Own Webventure Project, I hope to do a game where you play as a cat attempting to trash their owner's apartment before getting caught. It will be inspired by actual actions done by my cat in real life (Gunter). For my five gifs, they will probably be used to show the destruction of the cat. It will animate things such as knocking over cups of water, or other items off of tables, eating plants, tearing up furniture, and playing the keyboard. As for the five photoshops, I will probably photoshop the settings that the cat will go through. There will probably be a kitchen, dining area, music, area, living area, mantel, and outside. My five found images will be dispered around the settings, and probably used in the home page and end pages. When you first start the game, the cat will start in the living area. From there, they can either choose to scratch the couch, or go to another area. In each area (except for outside), there will be options to destroy an item, or go to another area. As the player keep destroying items, they will be given the choice to destroy another item, or move to another area. The challenge is that you cannot choose to do a loud thing (play the keyboard), or go outside, because you will either catch the attention of the owner, or get distracted. Once you go through all of the correct stages of destruction:

Start (living area) couch > mantel > plant > kitchen > water cup > WIN

Some ways you could lose include:

Start (living area) couch > music area > keyboard > lose

Start (living area) couch > plant > outside > lose

This may need some adjusting once I get into the actual project, but that is the basic idea of the game. For the losing page, I might use a picture of me looking upset. For the winning page, I will use the outside setting to show that you have been thrown out as punishment, but are happy, because you managed to completey destroy the aparment.
