Overall, I was happy with how my Choose your own Webventure project went. It is probably my favorite project that I did this entire semester. The project was pretty clearly inspired by my actual experiences of living with a (menace) cat. Pretty much all of the cat pictures used are pictures of my cat (Gunter), and all gifs are based off of actual things that he has done. I think that all of the photoshopped images turned out well. I really made sure to keep the photoshopped images clean and visible. The only thing I wish I could have done better was making sure the gifs looked more realistic. The moving limbs look as if they were cut loosely and they don't attach very well to the rotation center/shoulder. Otherwise, I think the gifs look silly and fit the theme of the game well. I also like that I incorporated only one way to win, so there is a bit of a challenge to the game. You lose by either playing piano, getting distracted, or not destroying anything. Every action in the game is cat-related. I hope that when people, especially cat owners, go through this webventure, they find the options extremely relatable and funny. I also noticed that some other people had issues with the sizing of their websites. I found that after setting an image as a section background, I had to then change the layout and make sure that it was not stretched past the margins. If they were stretched out, the image, or gif would be cut off. Doing this helped to make sure that everything was easy to read and navigate. I had a lot of fun with the easter eggs, too. Every hidden link takes the viewer to an iconic cat meme.
